2021 Regional High Performance Camps

Join Soccer NB this summer to improve and refine your soccer skills! Regional Camps will be available in Moncton, Edmundston, Fredericton, Chaleur, Saint John and Tracadie. Groups will be split up by age as well as skill, so that each participant is able to reach their full potential by training with others at a similar level.

These camps are managed by elite level coaching staff, and run for 4 days of the week (Monday to Thursday, except for Holiday weeks). Organized play begins at 9am and goes until 12pm, but participants can be dropped off as early as 8:15am to accommodate for the parent/guardians’ commute to work.

High Performance Coach Soccer New Brunswick

Soccer New Brunswick – High Performance Coaching Staff

Soccer New Brunswick is seeking an experienced and energetic Coach who will work in partnership with staff and volunteers to advance High Performance Soccer in the province of New Brunswick under the direction of the Executive Director and Technical Development. The ideal candidate is committed to working on a day to day basis with New Brunswick’s Train to Train and Train to Compete athletes.  This will occur in a Training Group setting leading to improved national results and stronger national team presence. This is a full-time, 3 year contract position.. The Coach will be expected to contribute to the culture of high performance sport within the province of New Brunswick.

Qualifications

  • CSA National A Licence or equivalent.
  • Competition Development Trained or Level III Certified
    Minimum of 10 years coaching experience at an elite level, preferably at a youth professional Academy.
  • Playing experience at an elite or professional level.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a broad range of people.
  • Ability to speak both English and French is an asset.

 

All potential candidates should:

  • Provide the required criminal record check with their application.
  • Be in good standing with Soccer New Brunswick and associated programs.
  • Be knowledgeable in the Long Term Development Program.
  • International candidates must be eligible to, or in the process of becoming eligible to work in Canada

  1. i) Candidates may be invited to attend an interview. Only selected candidates will be contacted.
  2. ii) Coaches will be required to demonstrate their soccer knowledge and management skills and coaching experience. Demonstration may include conducting of a practice session or sessions at a designated time and place.

12th Annual Coaches Symposium (PART 3)

2021 Entry Level Referee Clinic

This introductory course is intended for those 13 years of age and over who are just beginning their refereeing career. It focuses on the practical aspects of refereeing for primarily youth (U12 – U18) games.

Notes:

  • 4 DAY Modules (Online & on field) are mandatory for completion of  Clinic.
  • Pre-registration is required for the Entry Level Clinic.

 Cost: $65.00 for the clinic / We accept Visa, Mastercard, cheque or cash.

In the year entry level course is taken  Referee Registration fee of $65.00 is waived

Please also complete the Pre-Course study guide (material to be emailed to you within 48 hours, using the Laws of the game handbook.

Note 1: For the Small Sided Games and Entry Level Clinics, please bring appropriate clothing for running as there will be practical exercises as well as theory.  Also, please bring a pencil and notepad for your personal notes.  All other course materials (whistles, handouts, etc.) will be provided.
Note 2: Upon completion of the course, successful candidates will be sent request application to apply for current referee season in our powerup application.
